Here’s the deal, Lula gives a f*%&!

About people. About community. About caffeine-fueled joy.

Lula for You!

Who’s Lula? Let’s start at the end.

You’re walking out, coffee in hand, pastry crumbs maybe still on your shirt. You glance back and think —

“That’s my coffee shop.”

xo, Taylor

Sure, coffee’s a small thing. But at Lula, we know small things have big ripple effects — like the grin from your barista who actually remembers your order, or the laugh that hits before your first sip.

We’re not trying to save the world (we’d spill too much coffee doing that). But we are trying to make your corner of it a little kinder, weirder, warmer — one latte, one laugh, one “you got this” at a time.

So whether you need a hug in a cup, a pep talk with espresso, or just a spot that feels like yoursWelcome to Lula

“What can our smiles & coffee help you with today?”

Let us introduce you to Roslyn.

She’s one of those rare peeps who brings both heart and depth wherever she shows up. Roslyn’s currently pursuing her Master’s in Global Health at the University of Washington, focusing on equity and social justice in health systems. That might tell you something about her compass. It points toward lifting others.

She’s born and raised here in West Seattle, but her heart reaches far beyond. Most recently, she spent time volunteering at a child center for displaced families in Thessaloniki, Greece. We were kidding about the kind of reach she carries- local roots, global heart.

At Lula, Roslyn reminds us daily that this is about more than coffee. For the past year and a half, she’s been connecting with neighbors, swapping stories with regulars, and weaving herself and Lula into the fabric of this community.

And she is not just here behind the counter. She is pushing us forward. Roslyn has been leading our philanthropy efforts, building partnerships so we can give back in ways that matter.

For this first project, spearheaded by her, she's organizing a back-to-school fundraiser and donation drive for unhoused and under-resourced kids served by Treehouseforkids.org. It is the start of something bigger. With Roslyn’s vision, this is only the beginning of many community-driven initiatives here at Lula.
